It is offshoring that is being condemned, not immigration, and not immigrants. In fact, immigrants are among those harmed by this latest corporate fad, and it's occurring in most Western economies. Issues that harm large numbers of workers and are likely to harm future international competitiveness are most certainly subjects that should be discussed.
