Suresh Ramasubramanian misses the point in his attack on Lou Dobbs'
discussion of offshoring. It is offshoring that is being condemned, not
immigration, and not immigrants. In fact, immigrants are among those harmed
by this latest corporate fad, and it's occurring in most Western economies.
Issues that harm large numbers of workers and are likely to harm future
international competitiveness are most certainly subjects that should be
    discussed.

The IEEE-USA has good discussion of the issues, including testimony by Dr
Ron Steadman to the US Senate, and by Dr Ronil Hira to US House of Reps.
