Curiosity got the better of me, so I signed up for a free account at
    the latest privacy-violating net thingie ... Didtheyreadit.com

As I have Eudora set to NOT automatically download html bumph, and
sure enough a 1x1 pixel white-coloured bug at the end of the test
    message from me to me.

    Gee, how tricky! ;-)

    Behold:

It is also a trivial matter of filtering against
dtri3.rampellsoft.com if someone wants to prevent any outbound info.
Heck, this is something AlJazeera have been offering on their webmail
for free for some time, minus the geographical location data
    Didtheyreadit.com offer, itself rather meaningless.

Yet another tempest in a teapot.
