About: mod_auth_pgsql is a module that allows user  authentication (and can
log authethication  requests) against information stored in a  PostgreSQL
database.  

Changes: A security problem was fixed. Password caching was added, but it
is off by default. Password caching promises to be useful for highly loaded
sites.
