Reptor 1.0 by Alex Howansky (http://freshmeat.net/users/alexhowansky/) Tuesday, October 9th 2001 18:28 Categories: Internet :: Log Analysis, System :: Networking :: Firewalls About: Reptor is a utility designed to aid the analysis of Symantec/Axent/Raptor firewall logfiles. It generates HTML reports which can include traffic summaries and alert messages that are based on highly customizable conditions. Reptor is intended to be run on a daily basis in order to provide details of the previous day's activity. Its built-in support for secure remote logfile retrieval, FTP, and SMTP allow it to be easily automated. Changes: This release includes a new OOBA (out of band authentication) summary, DNS caching, a workaround for Raptor's "SMTP huge received bytes value" bug, new HTML themes, and a few bugfixes.
