NGSSniff takes advantage of the RAW_SOCKETs capabilities built into those operating systems so doesn't require any drivers to be installed. One of the advantages of NGSSniff is that it allows analysis of captured packets without having to stop the capture process unlike many other Windows based network sniffers. For anyone wishing to get a copy of NGSSniff you may do so from here: http://nextgenss.com/products/ngssniff.html Though it is in full working order NGSSniff is still marked as beta. As such if anyone does find any problems with it please feel free to send and e-mail to supportat_private .
