    Job Profile:	
    
    Joining an expert, IT security, design team, the role involves the design of
    security solutions for both large and small client's of Evolution within the
    investment banking industry.  Your contribution to the team will also include
    specialist security consulting services to existing and prospective clients.
    
    The job requires a solid understanding and background in UNIX (Solaris 2.x/7),
    NT 4/5.  An active interest in Linux would also be advantages for certain
    aspects of the role.  A deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls,
    virtual private networks, PKI, together with an appreciation of IT security at
    both the Kernel and application level is also required.
    
    Your genuine interest in security / e-commerce will also be complimented with
    an good understanding of how to program in a scripting language such as Perl 5.
     You will also have good 'C' skills to help with the lower level understanding
    of network and Kernel security issues - a requirement of the job.  Knowledge of
    Java / CORBA would be a definite advantage.
    
    Security solutions, programs & scripts developed will need to be well
    documented using standard office tools, although your structured approach to
    work means this will not be a problem.
    
    Attention to detail and a desire to continuously improve standards forms a
    major part of the team's culture and you will be expected to actively
    contribute to this.
    
    Due to the nature of IT security work, you may have to deal with a number of
    tasks simultaneously.  You will be someone who thrives in a busy environment
    and can prioritise tasks accordingly.
