    Incyte Pharmaceuticals (Palo Alto, CA) is looking for an intermediate-
    to senior-level security administrator.  The person filling this
    position will work with other security and network personnel in
    implementing and enforcing security policy.  Qualifications include:
    
    	-Familiarity with networking concepts---i.e., knows the
    	 Stevens books
    	-Familiarity with firewalling concepts.  Having experience with
    	 various commonly-available firewall solutions good, but prior
    	 experience with any particular firewall is not prerequisite
    	-Familiarity with intrusion detection concepts, both host-based
    	 and network-based
    	-Familiar with public key infrastructures
    	-Familiar with (listed in arbitrary order) Linux, Solaris, Digital
    	 Unix and the various BSDs.  Familiarity with other OSes a plus
    	-Proficient in scripting in perl, Bourne shell and other scripting
    	 languages.  Ability to code in C a plus
    	-Familiarity with cryptography a plus but not required
    	
    In addition to being familiar with existing security solutions and
    products, the candidate should be able to work with and develop new
    applications and techniques as the company's security requirements
    change.
