Title: Security Risk Assessment Specialist Location: Murray Hill, NJ Salary: $80k - $100k Description: Primary responsibilities include conducting security risk assessments, analyzing the security of systems and applications, developing technical solutions for customer projects, and providing consultation on new technology and products. Candidate must have solid working experience in the areas of qualitative and/or quantitative risk assessment methodologies. Must also have knowledge of networking concepts and architecture. Experience with security analysis tools (e.g. ISS, Axent, port scanners, network mapping tools, sniffers) is a plus. Skills/Experience: Candidate must have experience in at least two of the following security areas: Internet/Intranet, firewall technologies, remote access, UNIX and TCP/IP, Windows NT, desktop, client/server and/or wireless technologies. Candidate should also have a sound understanding of security architecture, security standards, data encryption, VPN technology, e-commerce security, and security policy and/or vulnerability analysis. Position requires the ability to evaluate policies and procedures, as well as review of network designs and architectures for security vulnerabilities. Experience in commercial and/or government computer and network security is highly desirable. Candidate must have strong written/verbal communication skills, possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple assignments, and must be able to build rapid credibility with customers. Should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to research and quickly develop security expertise in a wide variety of technologies. Domestic and international travel may be required.
