March / April 2001 
Installed and configured a new Windows 2000 Domain structure 
with Active Directory
 * Configured two Windows 2000 Domain controllers with Active Directory 
   and DDNS. Migrated 50 users with their groups and permission structure 
   from existing Windows NT 4.0 PDC.

March 2001
Implemented a new administrative network design utilizing 
several Cisco Catalyst switches 
 * Performed backups of configurations on existing network equipment. 
   Updated the software on 5 Cisco 6500 Catalyst switches, 2 Cisco 4000 
   Catalyst switches and 2 Cisco 2948 switches. Configured VLAN’s and a 
   gigabit fiber optic link to connect 2 remote sites for increased network 
   reliability.

Manage and maintain 500 Windows and Macintosh workstations. 
Administrate 3 Windows NT/2000 Domain Controllers, a Linux email 
server (Communigate Pro) and 3 file and print servers. Responsible for 2 
Linux DHCP / DNS servers and 2 SQLanywhere database servers (ADP 
and Blackbaud systems). Perform backups using the Retrospect Server 
Backup. Support and configure 9 Cisco Catalyst switches, 2600 router 
and a Cisco Pix firewall. Work with Director of Networking Services on all 
security audits and network troubleshooting. Conduct network packet / 
protocol analysis and optimization utilizing Etherpeek and Tcpdump.
