Salary : $80k Base + ( 20k Bonus ) + Super Critical Relationships : Senior Technical Consultants and Sales Team Position Summary : Liaison with Systems Engineers and sales teams to scope and implement network security solutions Primary Accountabilities : § To provide consultancy to the customer base in all aspects of IT security § To assist customers in developing, documenting and implementing security policies and procedures § To provide consultancy services to customers on the implementation of security related products § Develop customer specific reports, as a result of consultancy assignments, on such issues as; Risk assessment Intrusion detection Internet security Firewall management Security policy enforcement Security vulnerabilities Single point of access § To reach allocated revenue targets from paid consultancy § To assist with pre-sales projects as when required § Help solve problems involving very complex issues across multiple systems, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills Specific Skills : § A minimum of 4 years IT experience with 2 years experience in a security related environment § A sound knowledge of the issues related to IT security – Checkpoint essential § Strong written and verbal communication skills § Good presentation skills § Exposure to Cisco Pix, RSA, Netscreen and knowledge of PKI would be an advantage § Knowledge of Cisco and Checkpoint products essential § Good understanding of networking and protocols : LAN/WAN technologies Requirements ( Education Certification, Training and Experience ) § Teritary qualification, preferably degree in Computer Science § Able to demonstrate knowledge and ability in complex systems design, people and project management § Requires very good knowledge and experience of working with large organizations and specific practices and procedures § Will have 3+ years industry experience Personal Attributes : § Good communicator § Self Motivated § Able to motivate others § Attention to detail Jim Cook Account Director - Information Security email: jim.cookat_private tel: +61 2 9492 0113 A.S.K.
