    RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists internet development 
    teams with the design and development of security 
    standards and procedures. Manages implementation 
    of Public Key Infrastructure technology. Performs 
    vulnerability assessments for internet 
    applications. Executes Incident Response 
    procedures. Provides problem analysis and 
    consultation in any and all internet security 
    matters. Conducts in depth research and provides 
    strategic position papers. Provides problem 
    analysis / consultation for Web applications, 
    Windows NT, IIS, CGI programming, AIX, TCP/IP and 
    relational database product. Evaluates, designs, 
    and implements security solutions. Develops and 
    conducts security training to application 
    development teams. Conducts security assessments 
    of internet applications. Administers security 
    products and related tools. Monitors enforcement 
    of security standards and procedures. Manages 
    security projects involving other system groups, 
    user groups and/or clients. Researches technical 
    solutions for outdated processes to ensure 
    security standards are met. Maintains/updates 
    information security policy and procedures. 
    Maintains expertise in current and emerging 
    internet technologies. Supports and services all 
    clients in a timely manner with the highest 
    quality attainable within the parameters of the 
    project. Fills a supervisory role when the project 
    manager is not available. 
    
    QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years experience in 
    designing and implementing security for internet 
    applications. Complete understanding of Windows 
    NT, IIS, CGI programming, ASP, Java, and TCP/IP. 
    Proficient in the use of network security scanners 
    such as ISS and Cybercop. Specialized security 
    training in vulnerability assessment for internet 
    applications / penetration testing. Experience in 
    installing and configuring security monitoring 
    tools such as Axent ESM, S3 (ISS), Real Secure 
    (ISS), and ITS (Axent). Understanding of PKI 
    technology and its applications. Experience in 
    installing and configuring PKI products from 
    vendors such as Entrust, Baltimore, iPlanet, and 
    Netegrity. Excellent oral and written 
    communication skills. Ability to assess 
    information requirements and recommend appropriate 
    solutions. Ability to work under pressure and with 
    associates at all levels. Ability to work on 
    multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-On 
    technical expertise. Ability to work with minimum 
    supervision. BA/BS (or equivalent in education and 
    experience). Microsoft, Cisco and CISSP 
    certifications are a plus.
