Linux Kernel/Security Engineer
WireX <http://wirex.com/>has an immediate opening for junior and senior
Linux kernel developers, with a preference for candidates with some
exposure to security issues. These individuals will participate in
WireX's on-going development of Immunix
<http://immunix.org>security-enhancing features for Linux systems.
Responsibilities
* Participate in development of the Linux Security Module
<http://lsm.immunix.org/>project
* Participate in development of IPGuard: advanced Immunix
technologies to defend kernel network stacks against packet
attacks
* Particpate in general Immunix security system development, both in
the Linux kernel and in user space
Background/Experience:
* Linux kernel experience
* general C programming experience
* device driver experience is desirable
* University degrees are appreciated, but not required; we
appreciate "hack value", whether self-taught or formally educated
