I'm currently available for immediate employment in the Houston, TX area.
My ideal position would be as either Manager of Information Security or a
senior level network/information security position in the Southwest United
States. My previous job title was Sr. Specialist, Information Security
working for a wholly owned subsidiary of a Fortune50 company where I
specialized in network security and host/network electronic forensics.
My entire group was laid off, though we were all given the option to
re-deploy inside the company. Unfortunately there was not a position in
the company where my security and networking skills could be utilized. I
am now doing independant contract work as a penetration tester and auditor
for various companies in the Houston area, but prefer the benefits of
salaried employment.
I'm a US native, so citizenship concerns are not an issue. I've applied
for a US passport, and should be capable of both domestic and
international travel soon. I live within 10 minutes of one of the major
airports in Houston for travel convenience, but prefer to travel no more
than 25% of the time if possible. Travel limits are negotiable, depending
upon the position.

using Cisco, Ascend, and Lucent equipment in the ISP/NSP field.
Includes BGP4 and OSPF protocol implementation.
