    Technology Specialist
    Location: Long Island City, NY
    Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 plus bonus (25%)
    
    Responsibilities:
    Lead teams in auditing security configurations and controls on multiple
    environments and architectures. Conduct system vulnerability and risk
    assessments. Serve as lead author of reports, plans, presentations and
    other written products. Serve as primary technical interface with staff.
    Maintain knowledge of new risk and threats to the organization and
    evaluate security expopsures. Perform security assessments of software
    and hardware. Participate in computer emergency Respons Team. Conduct
    security awareness and training sessions. Perform in-depth security
    reviews of workstations, network and departmental practices to ensure
    compliance.
    
    Requirements:
    - Must effectively communicate technical subjects, orally and in
    writing, to both experts and novices.
    - Must be familiar with information security related standards,
    regulations and laws.
    - 5+ years experience in developing secure IT architectures to support
    financial services and e-business.
    - Experience with PKI, access controls, digital certificates, and
    authentication systems.
    - Experience supporting the development of information security
    programs, drafting of policies and procedures.
    - Experience in conducting vulnerability or risk assessments.
    - Ability to manage projects and lead a team.
    - Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network
    Engineering, Information Systems Security
    or related field
    - Strong security background.
