Overall purpose of job: Senior technical reviewer of security requirements and Deputy Head of Information Security Management Responsibilities in order of priority: 1. Review technical security requirement for new & existing systems 2. Identify, develop and implement technical security solutions 3. Promote security awareness/solutions to systems department 4. Carry out risk assessment and report findings to management 5. Liaise with audit, regulators and senior management Skills/Experience required Work: At least 2 years security analysis as well as experience of one or more of Novell, NT, AS400 or Windows 2000. Education: Good standard, minimum of A level Abilities: Strong technical knowledge/experience of implementing security solutions. Excellent technical skills in respect of Lan Environment (NT/Novell). Familiar with the use of ACE server, minesweeper, PS-audit and EMS. Must also possess the knowledge to develop end user computing database products. Particular Interests: Technology and security. Aware of new developments and risk. Personality: Excellent communicator, flexible, reliable with a logical approach to problem solving. Good time management. Patience.
