As a senior manager, this individual will be responsible for: Establishing and managing a highly-effective remote team of SEs in locations across the U.S. Working directly for the VP of Enterprise Sales and Support on strategic account opportunities Developing and deploying a product & technology training plan for sales, SE, and channel partner SE staff Developing and managing a product evaluation process and product evaluation guide for SEs and prospective customers Supporting new product launch activities with enterprise customers and prospects, including Beta programs Responsibilities of the SE Organization Include: Support sales calls with technical presentations, product demonstrations, requirements analysis and configuration of appropriate solutions for enterprise prospects Work as a team member with enterprise sales staff, assisting with account coverage, account planning, proposal and quote development Assist key prospects through product evaluations and trials Support new customers with technical training and initial configuration and deployment of product Manage all technical aspects of regional and national trade shows Support strategic partner and reseller channel partner SEs with technical guidance and training Requirements: Minimum 6 to 10 years experience as a Technical Sales/Sales Engineer, with a proven ability to provide technical leadership to large enterprise customers Minimum 3 to 5 years experience managing a SE team supporting software sales into Fortune 500 enterprises Bachelor degree is required, preferably in CS/EE, some business education is a plus Strong customer relationship skills and presence is a must Demonstrated experience in the following: Recruiting and leading a national team of sales engineers Developing and managing technical training programs for SEs Working cooperatively with strategic partners and VARs to support sales Expertise with computer and network security solutions Experience in LAN and VPN networking, connectivity, routing protocols, and system integration are a plus For immediate consideration email your resume to fwoodsat_private
