Hi all, I already posted to this list in the end of November. Although it brought me some new friends and possible leads (I even managed to perform one small project), I am still under impression that there is _no_ security jobs in the Republic of Ireland. All recruiters tell me that I am very qualified, blah, blah, but there is nobody hiring now. Anybody wants to prove that I am wrong? :) I am resident in Ireland now, willing to relocate to UK - London preferably (although will need an employer to sign off couple of papers to get a work permit for me). Germany is also remotely considered, although I do not speak German. My skills (starting from the strongest) • Firewalls – Checkpoint on NT and Solaris, PIX, Gauntlet, eTrust Firewall, also some Watchguard and Raptor experience. • High availability/multi-tier/failover configurations for firewalls and network equipment • Network intrusion detection systems – ISS RealSecure, Snort, Cisco Netranger, also some NFR experience. • Network hardware – Cisco equipment, load-balancing solutions (LocalDirector and CSS content switches), cache solutions (Cacheflow) • Managed security services development. • Enterprise-wide monitoring service. • Security policy development and implementation, awareness planning and training. • Network security auditing, also some penetration testing experience. • Wide range of vulnerability scanning tools – from ISS Internet Scanner and Cisco Secure scanner to nmap and nessus. • HTML, SQL, Python, Perl experience, Unix shell scripting Certifications: CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional CCSE – Certified Checkpoint Security Expert CCSA – Certified Checkpoint Security Administrator regards, Vitaly. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
