Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a summer internship to gain "hands on" experience in the
field of information assurance.

I would like to gain more experience and develop my skills for my future
career in INFOSEC, especially in working with IDSs, VPNs, Firewalls,
Unix/Linux/BSD, Penetration Testing/Auditing, and all of the other
exciting/not so exciting aspects out there. I would prefer to work with
Linux/OpenBSD (open source) technologies, but any Unix would be
acceptable. I would also like to stay close to Omaha, but am willing to
relocate for the summer.

My resume:  http://www.unomaha.edu/~bwiese/resume/resume-student2.pdf
(also see below in text)

I am currently a sophomore computer science major at the University of
Nebraska at Omaha, with a focus on information assurance. I am proficient
in Linux but prefer OpenBSD for my firewalls and vpns. I have been a
student of the information security scene for over 5 years now, and have
been proficient in *nix for almost 2 years now.

Any offers, comments or questions? -- please feel free to reply.

Thank you, peace;
