    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    
    Build and develop a marketing team. 
    Refine company direction using intelligence from the 
    market, customers, and competition. 
    Oversee competitive analysis and be the channel for 
    competitive information. 
    Manage the outbound and inbound marketing 
    channels. 
    Attend critical sales presentations to collaborate with 
    the sales and services team. 
    Structure business milestones and develop a 
    strategic roadmap. 
    Interact with the developers, sales engineers and the 
    VP of Engineering. 
    Product pricing and positioning 
    DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
    
    Significant senior level management and leadership 
    experience in the marketing department, preferably in 
    the enterprise software industry. 
    Possess strong visionary skills, strategic and tactical 
    skills, and technical skills to understand the 
    enterprise software market, creating demand and 
    generating revenues. 
    Hands on experience and demonstrated success at 
    taking a product through the complete lifecycle 
    Strong technical background and an understanding of 
    the issues and processes surrounding the product 
    management of enterprise software applications. 
    Solid track record and proven success defining, 
    developing, promoting enterprise software 
    applications 
    Demonstrated success in building and managing a 
    marketing department for complex enterprise 
    software products. 
    Excellent leadership and communication skills. 
    Additional Qualifications: 
    
    Ideally VP of marketing has managed marketing 
    activity of a software company which has 
    experienced sales growth from $10m to over $50m. 
    Prior exposure to internet security is a plus
