    Description:
    Seeking a Developer to help design and develop an 
    Intrusion Detection System from the ground up.
    This individual will be the development group's 
    security product expert and will be instrumental in the 
    development of next generation security-focused 
    products, which feature detection and suppression of 
    a broad range of threats with line-rate processing 
    capability.
    
    Responsibilities:
    *Actively participate in the development of product 
    requirements and software design of security 
    products
    *Mentor other developers regarding security issues 
    and participate in design, code, and test reviews.
    *Develop lead responsibility for major software 
    components, from initial design through product 
    release.  
    
    Requirements:
    *Must have a thorough knowledge of networking 
    protocols and security.  
    *Must have 10+ years developing security-focused 
    products such as intrusion detection systems and 
    virus suppression.
    *Must have expert-level knowledge of UNIX and 
    windows security issues.
    *Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to 
    mentor and communicate effectively with other team 
    members.
    *Eager to work on state-of-the-art technology in a 
    start-up environment
    
    Objectives:
    *Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP-4
    *Security Community affiliation is expected
