    immediate vacancy for a Security Architect / Consultant. Candidates must 
    be UK based and eligible to work without restriction OR already hold a 
    valid EU/UK Work Permit - at this stage our client is not looking to

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    
    To support their continued expansion, they seek a high calibre Security 
    Architect / IT Security Consultant with excellent technical skills. The 
    primary function of this very technical role will be to lead on IT 
    security architecture, design & requirements capture, IT security 
    management & IT security policy compliance. The candidate will be heavily 
    involved in security implementation & operations best practise & IT 
    security uplift programmes.  In addition the post holder will work with 
    product developers, suppliers & customers to support the building of trust 
    relationships. Pragmatism is essential. 
    
    Person Specification: thorough technical understanding of IT security & 
    experience in security architecture & design; security expert in the 
    following: Application Security; network Security; Mobile devices; Network 
    technologies; Unix; Linux; NT; firewalls; intrusion detection systems 
    (IDS); logical access control systems. Good interpersonal skills & the 
    ability to demonstrate knowledge with confidence in front of demanding 
    clients is essential. Project Management experience & good written/ 
    documentation skills.
