    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Perform software and hardware maintenance and configuration of 
    penetration testing laboratory.
    2.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of computer and network vulnerabilities, 
    and exploitation tools and techniques
    3.  Conduct research in network penetration testing and vulnerability 
    analysis of client computer-based information protection programs.
    4.   Use and develop software tools applied in scanning and penetration 
    testing of enterprise networks.  Participate in internal research and 
    development of testing tools and aids.
    5.  Develop documentation of testing results and ensure quality of results.
    6.  Implement administrative, physical, and cyber security processes and 
    procedures.
    7.  Provide technical input to reports for senior client management 
    summarizing program deficiencies and corrective actions; prepare and 
    deliver briefings to client management on results of assessments.
    8.  Provide technical input to proposals.
    
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
    BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical 
    discipline.  Degree requirement may be waived with three years of 
    equivalent experience in network security.  Must have knowledge of TCP/IP 
    networking, and basic knowledge of network and host exploitation 
    techniques.  Candidate must have at least four years of experience with 
    Unix (Solaris, AIX, IRIX, HPUX, SCO, Linux) and/or Windows 2K/NT/98/85.  
    Preference will be given to candidates with experience in both UNIX and 
    Windows.  Must have working knowledge of systems configuration and 
    management of firewalls, servers, and work stations.  Must be able to 
    travel up to 50%.  Applicants will be subject to internal pre-employment 
    screening, including psychological testing, will be subject to a 
    government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements 
    for access to classified information (DOE Q, and DOD Top Secret 
    Clearances).  Position located in Columbus, Ohio.
