    Hi.  Ingrian Networks is looking for a security engineer.  Ingrian
    Networks is a startup located in Redwood City CA that builds and sells an 
    "Active Application Security" platform (that's the marketing-speak,
    see www.ingrian.com for more details).
    
    The security group is responsible for core security functionality on
    the platform and ensuring the security of the entire platform.
    
    There is no relocation assistance for this position, sorry.
    
    The position description and requirements are below.  If you meet the

    only consider people with the appropriate experience.
    
    
    The Security Engineer will work with a small team of security engineers
    and the larger engineering organization to:
    
    -Design and write new software.
    -Improve the security of existing and new code by participating in
     reviews and designing and writing security-related tests.
    -Update and fix security issues in existing software.
    
    
    Security Engineer Requirements:
    
    -Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development in C and C++.
    -Deep knowledge of operating system internals, with particular emphasis
        on UNIX-based Operating Systems (Linux)
    -Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
        (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SSL)
    -Experience with (modifying or coding against) SSL packages.
    -Experience with (modifying or writing) other applications of cryptography.
    -Have designed and written security-focused code.
    -Experience doing security-focused design and code reviews.
    -Experience in developing tests for security holes.
