If you're going to be down under in May you may want to look at the AusCERT conference 11 May - 15 May, link is; http://conference.auscert.org.au/conf2003/ This is supposed to be a large gathering from the Austral-Asia area of security folks. Might be networking opportunities. I was there in November and December last year. Sydney seemed to be the most tech-advanced city, however security jobs were not large in number. In fact many co's and consulting firms were cutting folks (like most everywhere). My friends told me Brisbane seems to be the place with more concentration of INFOSEC folks. regards, farmerdude On Wed, 2003-03-12 at 15:58, Some One wrote: > Hi everybody, > > I am going to move to Australia soon - will be visiting in May or June to > validate my residency etc. > > Can anybody enlighten me on the situation with infosec jobs in AU?
