('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) Local client in the Raleigh area is seeking a Security Analyst to provide technical support in solving all phases of a large, complex Information System Security (ISS)- Real Secure implementation project. The Security Analyst will serve as a focal point for computer intrusion detection activities. This will include developing Intrustion Detection requirements, performing systems analysis, network and hardware security analysis, and developing security and detection policies and procedures. The Analyst should have strong working knowledge of common probing and attack methods, network/service discovery, system auditing, viruses, and worms. Knowledge of IP traffic flow, sniffing/capturing/monitoring live traffic streams. Experience with configuring and installing hardware, ranging from servers to network equipment. The Sr. Security Analyst will provide reviews and recommendations for ISS solutions. This is a 24x7 lab and the Security Analyst must be able to work any shift. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related discipline and at least 12 years related experience. Solid experience with Unix, Solaris, Linux, and NT. Experience with ISS, PKI, and firewalls. All candidates must be CISSP certified AND have ISS experience. Must have experience with Real Secure and SAFESuite Decisions. Knowledge of common probing and attack methods, network/service discovery, system auditing, viruses, and worms. Must be able to work ANY shift necessary.
