    Local client in the Raleigh area is seeking a Security Project Manager to 
    perform required infrastructure security tasks on Cisco security 
    management and other tool suites. Capable of configuring the security 
    parameters for operating systems and network devices. Capable of reading 
    security logs and security sections of application and operating system 
    logs. Capable of installing, configuring and operating Cisco security 
    products. Must be capable of determining whether additional security 
    measures are required beyond those provided by the infrastructure tools 
    being deployed. Capable of debugging security and reliability problems. 
    Has the ability to use direct measurements or design documents to advise 
    SIS about infrastructure security, reliability and performance issues 
    under load. Familiar with the most relevant security scanning, auditing 
    and other security management tools. The Security Project Manager is 
    responsible for the overall management and successful execution of the 
    MPE/Infrastructure Security Tool Deployment. The Project Manager should 
    be an extremely hands-on, technical manager, this includes providing 
    infrastructure security direction (with security products including Cisco 
    PIX firewalls, Cisco ACS, Cisco Works, LMS, Cisco VMS, and SolSoft). 
    
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 7 
    years of applicable experience is required. 
    Strong Management background, solid technical skills (must be a "hands-
    on" technical manager). Candidate needs to have a solid engineering and 
    program management background and needs to have demonstrated the ability 
    to manage people, technical projects, and finances. The individual must 
    have excellent writing skills, be an independent worker as well as a team 
    leader. Must possess demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and 
    coordinate all phases, including initiation, development, implementation, 
    and maintenance of various large, difficult and complex IT projects 
    simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working 
    with and/or directing major subcontractors. Strong program management 
    background obtained through formal education and work experience. Should 
    have experience Implementing, configuring and maintaining Cisco Works 
    2000, Cisco Secure ACS, Cisco CSPM and Cisco Pix Management Center tools. 
    US Citizenship is required for Sensitive Clearance.
