We currently have an opportunity for a Network Security Engineer at one of our downtown locations. The Network Security Engineer will be charged with the coordination of Local/Global Incident Response Teams. Activities will include performing investigations on systems when incidents occur and identifying trends/eliminating false positives from IDS alerts. Other responsibilities will include identifying and interpreting new threats from vulnerabilities and exploits, as well as the potential impact from these threats. This individual can also expect to draft policies, standards, and procedures related to intrusion detection, incident response, forensics, and perimeter security. Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BS in Computer Science preferred). 5 years Networking and Protocols (LAN, MAN, WAN), 5 years Host Security (UNIX, Linux, and Windows), and 5 years Network Security experience. 3 years Firewall, Router administration, Network/Host ID's design and administration, and 1 year Computer Forensics. Candidates should also have exceptionally strong leadership, organizational, and design creativity skills. Exceptional presentation and management skills are a must.
