Fort Leavenworth, Kan. - Representatives of the military as well as 
academia and industry have been spending this week looking at the future 
of cyberspace.

More than 130 people participated in the Information and Cyberspace 
Symposium at Fort Leavenworth, according to Col. Wayne A. Parks.

He is the director of the U.S. Army Computer Network 
Operations-Electronic Warfare Proponent, which is based at Fort 
Leavenworth.

Parks said the symposium is the second in a series. He said the first 
symposium focused on the human dimension of the area of information and 
cyberspace.

This week’s symposium has focused on the physical and technological 
aspects.
