Rhode Island State Police arrested Kimberly Tefft, 42, of 512 Kingstown Road, last week, charging her with intentional accessing and damaging a computer, a felony and misdemeanor computer trespass. State police said Tefft is a former employee who was laid off from the marine towing company in November of 2009. They said she was told she was not going to be taken back in April. Police said a representative of BayWatch RI Marine Towing contacted authorities in April, after a hired Webmaster reported that the company's website had been hacked. The damage to the website and the cost to recreate it was estimated at $2,000, without counting lost business.
