Andre the Giant, though dead some years now, has attracted a great
following. See http://www.andrethegiant.com/. The guerilla poster campaign
may interest some of you. Artists around the country produce and plaster
these posters all around cities in the United States, with pictures of
Andre and simple slogans like OBEY, or his weight and height (7'4"" 
(almost 2.5 meters), 520 pounds (1140 Kg)), or "Hello, My Name Is... 
ANDRE THE GIANT". Another poster includes a picture of a Chinese Communist
military officer and the word OBEY. You may have seen Andre while
wrestling with the World Wrestling Federation on Saturday morning
television, or in his memorable and endearing role in the movie 
The Princess Bride.
