A while ago there was mention of HP printers which you can telnet to and
how unprotected they are.

Well, for those of you that enable passwords, check if you have disabled
other protocols.

I've quite successfully reconfigured (but not reset the password, alas)
a printer using the standard tools provided with the HP JetAdmin for NT4.

I've not done too much testing, so I can't say whether it was due to DLC
or IPX or SNMP (I suspect the latter, however).
