    Hello All,

I've got some info on this year's Northwest Computer Technology and Crime
Analysis Seminar, this October 23-25, 2001 for those that might be
    interested.

This year's seminar will be held at a different location than last year, the
Mt. Bachelor Village Resort in Bend. Cost is $129 for the 3-day seminar,
early registration on the 22nd.. Deadline for early registration has been
changed to 10/15/01 ($169 after that date). I'm told there is room for
Vendor participation as well as regular attendance. Special rates for
lodging are available at $63 a night, but may be very limited by this time.

Topics for the seminar will include Hand-Held Devices, Crime Analysis,
Probability and Statistics, Wireless Networking, Computer Forensics, Funding
Opportunities, and Geo-based Analysis Tools. Vendors ATT, Nextel and others
    will be showing products.

There is additional info on the website at <http://www.crimes.org/>
http://www.crimes.org. I understand our own George Heuston will be
delivering the keynote address. Hope to see you there.
