True, the events which have happened are truly not funny, however, people deal with stress in different ways, and believe it or not, humor does help some of us. I attended a business meeting yesterday in which a lady admitted she had not opened her mail box in two weeks!!! Everyone laughed, but as it turned out it was no laughing matter to her, she is very much afraid and she ended up in tears. This was very sad to witness. So please remember, we all deal with stress differently, some need humor, some people shut down their emotions, some get angry, some sad, some need to express themselves by writing or talking, but we are all in the same boat and need to remember that, and try and help one another through these terrible times. The most important thing to remember is not to let it rule our lives, if we do, they win. At times when you become afraid, just remember, that is what they want, don't give in to it or they win. I have had to learn this lately through personal experiences of threats against myself, it does help most of the time) If you need to express your feelings, be it positive or negative, do it, that is one of the things we have fought for in this country," freedom of speech." If joking around helps, then do it, if calling a friend and venting helps, then do, run around the block, vent through e-mail, but everyone be mindful of one another, help one another and most of all, don't give in to it or they will win, so lets "rock and roll" and stick together on this by laughing, venting, crying, helping, and also, please, not forgetting what C.R.I.M.E. is all about here as well. We need to remember to keep calm and don't let this kind of stuff rattle us. Granted the person who did this thing may have had a grudge or was playing a bad practical joke, but we need to keep level heads. We also need to NOT let this stuff become a joke - as there is a real danger out there. It''s not funny and we should not treat it as such.
