Another approach to try is to setup a "quarantine" bin. If a user gets an E-mail with an attachment, it is held in quaratine and a notification is sent to the user with the E-mail ID and subject line of the E-mail. If the user determines that it might be a valid file, they have to respond with an E-mail containing a key word in the subject line and that triggers a release where it is passed on to the mail gateway. A bit quirky but it kills the majority of 'em.
