Yup. The thing about virus scene this year is that the level of noise is SO HIGH compared to the past that in order for us to do a HIGH alert, it's now quite astronomical. The background dull roar is as you can see in the graph. You look at it and go "Wow." But you also look around and no one is really jumping up and down about it. A sad state of affairs on the home user front. I started running reports for my own interest and to gather some ROI in case mgmt changed their minds. It has really helped upper mgmt with awareness, and has changed a few mindsets - pictures save a few thousand words, and loosen some purse strings. We've had a high volume of Sircam since it was released- Aug 01 (3790), and recently June 02 (1749), May 02 (1644), April 02 (1662). Magistr (all variants) - June 02 (82), May 02 (66), April 02 (127) Klez (all variants) - June 02 (1427), May 02 (1319), April 02 (553) Kelly [Image] "Kuo, Jimmy" wrote: > Any chance, if you have these automated to send stats to you, that it could > be also sent to me? > > I love collecting this type of data. > > One of the things regular AV Researchers miss is that we only hear about the > problems we have.
