Actually, I think the responses you recieved were fairly predictable. When Wil responded to a message from George with a light-hearted joke, meant to offend no-one, but lighten our days a little, you chose to take offense at a particular colloquialism and sucked the laughter right out of us. Most of us, understandably I think, took offense at that. I think we all can choose to take offense at various things throughout our days, but life is so much more livable if you save your energy for the things that really matter. -----Original Message----- From: Ken Emmons [mailto:KENEMM@private] Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2002 7:21 AM To: 'Crispin Cowan' Cc: crime@private Subject: RE: CRIME Legal info on carnivore I am shocked at the responses I received from members of this group. I am not a religious freak just a professional and a person who believes in GOD. As a person I do take offense to some things just as all of us do. I did not mean to get off track I just wanted to send an email to the person who send the unprofessional email with bad language. I thought I hit "Reply Sender" but hit the "Reply All" button. Sorry for the mistake. I was surprised to see so many GOD hating people who became hateful and irate at the mention of His name. It sounds to me that Crispin is the one who is intolerant. I wonder who he worships if not God :) -----Original Message----- From: Crispin Cowan [mailto:crispin@private] Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2002 12:10 AM To: Ken Emmons Subject: Re: CRIME Legal info on carnivore Ken Emmons wrote: >I take offence to your bad language.
