    Holy cow! Someone mentioned security while talking about firewalls! I'm
    partial to Symantec/Raptor..application proxy works and unless you're
    feeding a huge pipe, speed isn't an issue. I've seen Raptor spike things
    that would sail through a circuit/packet filter type firewall and...isn't
    that what a firewall is supposed to do? In all fairness....Checkpoint does
    say that it's NG Feature Pack 3 will include some http application level

    Money, scalability, speed: very nice. Uh, what about security? The
    Symantec product is a "hybrid" firewall (i.e. uses proxies) while the
    others are packet filters. IMHO, that adds security value.
