Hello, This message is merely to let everyone know that after several years of excellent list management, Sarah Mocas has passed off ownership if the CRIME mail list to me, Mark Morrissey. I am also in the CS department at PSU and several of you already know me. I have been on CRIME for about 3 years. I would like to thank Sarah for her efforts over the years and also thank John McHugh for the forsight to create the initial list - those are both big shoes to fill and I don't think that I will try. I'm aware of the problems of spam, etc. on the list and am in discussions with the PSU IT group on possible solutions. We are thinking quite expansive about the problem and are even considering more far reaching actions such as changing how mail lists are served, etc. If members have specific comments that they'd like to communicate to the list owner, I'm that person.
