Anitian Enterprise Security, a nationally recognized leader in information security and network infrastructure solutions, as an immediate opening for a Security Engineer. This is a full-time position working on-site with customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have a mix of business and technology skills and is comfortable working with both C-level executives as well as doing garden variety tech work. SECURITY ENGINEER As a security consultant you will be responsible for developing and implementing network security solutions for our clients. This may include deployment of security products, hardening systems, penetration testing, and security analysis. We prefer a candidate with strong technical and communication skills who can both assist our clients implement security solutions and demonstrate why they need secure systems. Candidates will be required to sign a strict confidentiality agreement and must be willing to undergo an extensive background check. REQUIREMENTS: - CISSP certification is required. - 2+ years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering or computer security. - Understanding of security standards (ISO 17799, CobiT, etc.) and regulations (HIPAA, GLBA, SOX, etc.) - Extensive hands-on experience with network technologies, protocols, standards and products. - Demonstrated ability to handle complex network security issues. - Extensive experience with some of following platforms: Windows, Linux, UNIX, BSD, and NetWare. - 1+ years of experience with intrusion prevention/detection technologies (ISS, Symantec, Snort, etc.) - 2+ years of experience with firewalls such as Checkpoint, WatchGuard, or Netscreen. - Good general knowledge of hacking/security tools such as Nessus, Internet Scanner, Retina. - Microsoft, Cisco, or Checkpoint certification is a big plus. - Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. - Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability work with clients to design security systems. - Technical documentation skills are also a must.
