    No experience with this exact model but from my hardware days I do remember 
    ripping an older Hitachi apart.  If they are still the same -- you will 
    find the screws to pop the keyboard/top cover underneath the little rubber 
    foot caps on the bottom of the laptop.  Typically, the keyboard will come 
    off first, then there will be a heat shield (or whatever the technical term 
    is....) underneath the keyboard that needs to be removed.  The screws 
    should be in pretty obvious spots after you get the keyboard popped.
    
    The camera idea is a good idea -- except be cautious about what you use 
    video cameras for when doing forensics -- you might end up filming 
    something that could be used against you if the case was taken to 
    court.  Simple diagrams might be a bit better.
