I have to agree. I had problems with an SBLive! X-Gamer and my ASUS motherboard. The end result of which was that my machine would crash frequently, and it would cause performance problems. I only figure out what it was by going through the ASUS newsgroups, and seeing all the posts about problems with this particular model. Most recommended a different brand, or going back to an older model like the SB512.
