One question around ms-proxy : I'm trying to access internet thru the SOCKS proxy server. To accomplish that , i0ve downloaded from socks.nec.com the sock client sources for some progs (ftp , telnet and other) , compile them under unix , and , when trying to connect thru the new ftp client , got a "CONNREFUSED" err msg in the connect phase. Other clients simply doesn't work The SOCKS server port at the proxy side is open and with access for everyone. Any ideas or any sites where i can found detailed info ( neither m$ nor nec , please ) Thanks in advance.
