Using remote server support programs?

    On some systems that have to be "validated", people seem to be in fear =
    of programs like VNC with SSH, and PCAnywhere.  Isn't the security of a =
    program like that better than with also having IIS running WEB pages and =
    FTP also being on the same server?
    
    Are there any issues I should know about if we wanted to be able to =
