    Realizing that this was already done to Microsoft and there should be
    no sensationalism here, I am just looking for confirmation that the
    same kind of insulting DNS registrations have been made targeting
    Verizon. This may or may not have already been cited but here is what
    I discovered while setting up some systems in the NACON labs:

    <cutandpasted>
    whois -h whois.crsnic.net verizon.com ...

    Whois Server Version 1.3

    Domain names in the .com, .net, and .org domains can now be registered
    with many different competing registrars. Go to
    http://www.internic.net
    for detailed information.

    VERIZON.COM.WILL.EVENTUALLY.HAVE.TO.FACE.UP.TO.THE.FACT.THAT.VERIZON-SUC
    KS.COM
    VERIZON.COM.SUCKS.COMPARED.TO.JIMPHILLIPS.ORG
    VERIZON.COM

    To single out one record, look it up with "xxx", where xxx is one of
    the
    of the records displayed above. If the records are the same, look them
    up
    with "=xxx" to receive a full display for each record.

    </cutandpasted>

    Just for info - Is there a running list of these anywhere?
