SUS problems do not appear related to that, as our SUS SP1 is still
working fine and so are many others. However, it does appear that the
ongoing problems at Windows Update in general are causing many SUS
    systems to fail.

Is it just me or has this just gone and crippled the synchronize feature
    of
    Software Update Services ?

I might be wrong but isn't that the only way it is able to update it's
    cache
    ?
