My latest results of LMbench run against the latest patch against
kernel 2.4.6 and the unmodified 2.4.6 kernel are attached.

    Raw Data is located at:

      http://lsm.antisoft.com/benchmarks/20010709/rawdata/

    and this summary is in

      http://lsm.antisoft.com/benchmarks/20010709/

    for whomever may be interested.

Still looking for (ideas regarding) a better benchmark to specifically
test LSM's performance impact, but LMbench seems to be providing some
interesting general information (at least, in my opinion.)

    Sincerely,
    J. Melvin Jones
