    Using "unsigned int" instead of "int" is faster on i386.  See the kernel
    janitors TODO for more information on this.
    
    I've added the additional field to the syscall, and changed the
    arguments to be "unsigned" as everyone on the list seems to agree on the
    need for this and pushed the change to the tree.
