    no, i expect lsm to go in bit by bit w/out any auxillary modules to
    begin with.  but it is very nice to have solid modules using the hooks
    in the lsm tree, i think it helps our case ;-)

    richard, you might have missed it while you were gone...but we have
    split the patches into an LSM only patch, which is just the core kernel
    changes plus the dummy/capability/lsm_ip_glue code.  there is also a LSM
    modules patch which includes things like DTE, SELinux, Openwall stuff...
    so, yes, it's just for convenience and it helps keep modules up-to-date.
