I'm in the process of requisitioning hardware for a central syslog server and I'd like some real numbers on the capacity of such a system. I'm looking for # of syslog clients, OS, CPU and memory capacity of the server, and network speed to the server. Live systems are appreciated so I can make sure my system(s) will handle the load today and tomorrow. Thanks, -Paul -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Tobia, IT Security Manager Cerner Corporation "I've done the math enough to know the dangers of our second guessing.", -Maynard James Keenan CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE This message and any included attachments are from Cerner Corporation and are intended only for the addressee.
