The current discussion is way over my head, but still great for seeing what
    can and/or is being done.

Are there any websites or books, that would be good for an experienced
admin, that is getting tired of manually scrolling though the log files for
problems? I've just started thinking along the lines of setting up a syslog
server, but have not gotten much past the thinking stage.

We're running basically a NT/ Cisco network with a smattering of other
stuff, so anything geared along those lines would be appreciated.

    Thanks
